About The Tour

The HeartStone Tour is a fundraiser partnership between the HeartStone Foundation and the City of Montgomery. Proceeds will go to assist individuals facing financial hardship caused by medical emergencies.

The HeartStone Tour is an essential fundraiser for the HeartStone Foundation, as well as a great way to spend your day cycling and having fun with family and friends!

Enjoy on-site food and beverages provided by our generous sponsors and volunteers both pre- and post-ride. After you finish the tour, kick back and relax to the rhythms and sounds of our live musical entertainment!

And the good times don’t end there! After you’ve gotten recharged, take the short stroll down the road to the heart of Old Montgomery, meet up with even more of your friends, and revel in the sights and sounds of the City of Montgomery’s Annual Bastille Day Celebration!

The Bastille Day Celebration starts at noon, and the HeartStone Tour routes are timed to make it easy for you to visit Bastille Day after your ride. Not to mention the convenience of already having a parking space!

HeartStone Tour

When:  Saturday, July 17, 2010 (no rain date)

Where:  Montgomery Elementary
       9609 Montgomery Road
       Montgomery, OH 45242

Routes:  25, 35, and 70 mile routes and 7 mile Family Ride
Longer routes will include rest stops with food/water.
All routes are marked and cue sheets will be provided on the day of the ride.

Advanced: 70 Miles (8:00 am start) – Invigorating climbs, rolling hills and country roads provide a challenge for experienced cyclists.

Intermediate:35 Miles (9:00 am start) – Moderate hills, bike trails and local roads create a pleasurable intermediate ride. The last 7 miles does include a handful of climbs, but no extremely steep hills. Map of Route*

Novice: 25 Miles (9:30 am start) – Combines a new section of the Little Miami Bike Trail and only one gradual hill - good for less experienced cyclists. This route will be led by experienced ride leaders and followed by a support vehicle.

Family Ride: 7 Miles (10:00 am start) – A Family Friendly ride through the beautiful neighborhoods and brick paths of Montgomery. This ride is for parents riding with children or someone who prefers a very casual pace. (Registration fee for Family Ride includes entire family.) Map of Route*

Fees:  $30 advance registration (registion online available through July 13th) ***
      $40 on-site registration

*** First 300 to register in advance will receive a complimentary HeartStone Tour t-shirt… super-soft fabric and exclusive design!!!
(One t-shirt per registration (or one per family); additional t-shirts available for purchase on the day of the ride.)
